Title of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of total hip replacement Aims: The aims of the bachelor thesis are to improve theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills connected with the diagnosis of total hip replacement and physiotherapeutic methods used after the implantation of an artificial hip joint. Summary: The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, general part, deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint; it also deals with the osteoarthritis, which is the most common cause leading to the total hip replacement. Particular types of implants and operating approaches are dealt with, as well. A significant part of the thesis deals with the rehabilitation plan for patients with this diagnosis, including preoperative rehabilitation, early rehabilitation after the operation and following rehabilitation. The second, specialisted part, deals with the casuistry of a patient after the implantation of an artificial hip joint, including evaluation of the effects of the therapy by comparing the kinesiological analysis before and after the treatment. Title: Case study of a physiotherapy care of a patient after total hip replacement Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get a theoretical and practical knowledge of the implementation of the total hip replacement and its application within the pacient's care. Methods: The bachelor thesis is divided into the General part and the Special part. The General part is dedicated to the total hip replacement issue. I was trying to describe the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip. Than I have been focusing on a coxarthritis, which is the most often diagnosed before the total hip replacement. I also mentioned the types of the total hip replacement and possible post-surgery complication. The important part of the thesis is following treating rehabilitation. In special part I was elaborating a case study of a patient with the total hip replacement. The Case study was made up during the training in the General military hospital (Jan 6th - Jan 31st 2014). It contains input case study, the record of the single therapeutic units, output case study and finally treatment therapy evaluation. Results: I manage the aims of the thesis.
